Types Of Indian Banks –
Indian banks can be categorized as follows.
Commercial Banks: The main role of commercial banks is to provide financial services to businesses and entrepreneurs. Commercial banks are further categorized as follows.
1. Private Sector Banks.
2. Public Sector Banks.
3. Regional Banks.
Co-operative Banks: Cooperative banks primarily support rural citizens, such as villagers, small-scale enterprises, etc. They are controlled and monitored by cooperative societies. This may be further classified into.
1. State Co-operative Banks.
2. Central Co-operative Banks.
3. Primary Agriculture Credit societies.
Investment Banks and specialized banks: They provide financial support to their customers and provide the required support, such as foreign exchange, equity sales, foreign trading, etc., to their customers.
Most of these bank jobs are offering competitive salary packages for their employees and are supporting promotions and knowledge in the industry. In the case of public sector bank jobs, professionals such as engineers, doctors, MBAs, and lawyers are appointed on the basis of the results of the All India Recruitment Exam. Probationary officers (Bank PO)/ Clerks/ Specialist Officers & Others are appointed to public sector bank jobs on the basis of the Common Written Test (CWE) undertaken by the IBPS.
IBPS Selection Process 2020
The selection process generally consisted of two stages.
The selection process for the IBPS PO, RRB, Clerk, and SO requires a systematic and complete procedure: the selection process mainly consists of two stages: the written test (Prelims and Mains) Personal interview Based on the applicant ‘s performance in these two stages, he/she will be shortlisted for the appointment of positions.
Common Written Examination –
1. Common Written Examination (Prelims and Mains), consisting of objective questions will be performed online.
2. Through applicant is required to obtain a minimum score in each portion and also a minimum total score, that needs to shortlist applicant for the interview.
3. The examination is of an objective type and has a duration of 120 minutes.
4. Negative marking of 0.25 is assigned.
Common Interview Process –
Candidates who are shortlisted within the written examination for CWE will subsequently be involved in an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations. Total marks allotted for IBPS Interview is 100. Minimum Qualify marks: for General: Above 40% and for SC/ST/PH/OBC/PWD: Above 35%.
Final Allotment –
After the completion of the interview process for bank jobs, the candidates selected will be assigned to one of the Participating banks, depending on the vacancies available & the candidate’s merit. The allotment process of candidates to the participating banks shall be final and shall be made in the view of the government guidelines. Interviews will be conducted at selected centers.
